Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the saddest stories. Lolo Jones, who is the champion of the USA and World hurdle championships has achieved this title after a long period of hard work and incredible endurance. She was the only child of a single mom within a household of five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mother lived along the road and even within the basement of a church in the area at one point. Jones lived a nomadic existence that made her change schools each year, until she reached high school. Jones loved to participate in athletics in Theodore Roosevelt the high school stayed far from her mother to follow her passion. She was a member of four families during her time at high school, in order to learn in one place. Jones was part of the orchestra of the school in Iowa as well as the Gatorade Track and Field Award. Also, she was awarded this prize in high her school. Jones at the time she was going to college, was regarded as one of the top hurdlers. She was the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship. Additionally, she was on the team which placed 2nd in the 100 meters relay. Jones was a winner of the hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA championships in 2003 as well as 2004. Jones started her career with the year 2005, after she finished her education. She started training to pursue a track career that would be successful. Jones won Torino Memorial in 2005, as well as Ostrava and Heusden track events in the next year.
Brandt was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She immigrated from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand with her family during her late teens. After being discovered by local casting directors, Brandt took on the role as Naevia in the Starz smashes Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S. Brandt will be next in a six-episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. She is also starring opposite Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated comedy Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December in Cape Town in South Africa. Her talent is impressive as a New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand to Auckland in the year 1999. After a few years of working in retail her promotion was to the position of the IT Manager consultant. Lesley's first job was a handful of modeling projects. She then appeared in many commercial ads. The actress graduated from her acting program in 2008, and then continued to research Meisner's techniques. Lesley Brandt's debut notable acting role was on the TV drama series Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's television show Shortland Street. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she portrayed the city of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the hostage's young daughter and is later featured as a character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature-series of the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
