The year 1999, in Auckland Brandt began her career as an employee in the retail sector, and later was upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Lesley began her modeling career after which she began appearing in commercials. The year 2008 was the time she completed her acting studies. In 2009, she began her acting studies, she continued training with the Meisner technique of studying. The first time she was seen on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor in Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt starred in the TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia the hostage. She then appeared in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
