Lolo Jones, who took home the USA and the World Championships for hurdle events in 2013, has only achieved this feat through a great deal of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones is a child born to a motherless family that included five kids living who were stricken by poverty and hardship when she was a kid, endured an extremely challenging childhood. She was constantly on the move, and had even been living in the basement of a church for a duration. Jones began her athletic career in the NCAA as one of the top hurdlers. She became the winner of the 100-meter hurdles at the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was a part of the winning team of 100-meter relay. Jones was the winner of both indoor and outdoor hurdles events at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones started her track career in 2005 after she finished her university studies. She was the winner of each of her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events during the same season.
Born and raised from Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her in her late teens. Brandt was noticed by casting directors from her native town, and she was offered the role of Naevia in the Starz smash Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. In the course of her collaboration with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam Raimi's producers, she became an international actor. Lesley Brandt moved along with her entire family in Auckland New Zealand in 1999. The first time she worked in Auckland as a retail store owner, and was then promoted to an IT consultant. Lesley's first job was a couple of model projects. She then appeared in countless commercial advertisements. She graduated in 2008 and finished her studies in acting. After that, in 2009 she continued her studies by using the Meisner approach to study. The first time she was a prominent actor, her job was in the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on the New Zealand's television show Shortland Street as a second actor. The next time she appeared on the show was This Is Not My Life. It's based on the true story of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. She later portrayed the role in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
