Sometimes a glittering career hides many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA and the World Champion in the event of a hurdle in 2013, has only achieved this feat with a lot of effort and tremendous patience. Jones, who was born to a motherless family and had five children living in poverty and hardship as a child, had an extremely challenging childhood. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born the 2nd of December, 1981 in Cape Town South Africa. She is a talented New Zealand actress. Lesley Brandt, along with the rest of her family, relocated to Auckland New Zealand back in 1999. After several years working in retail, she was promoted to IT manager consultant. Lesley began her professional career in commercial advertisements following some modeling opportunities. The actress graduated from her acting program in 2008 and continues to research Meisner's techniques. Lesley Brandt's very first noteworthy acting role was on the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity, which aired in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt was a guest supporting actress on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street. Then she appeared on the Sci-fi film This Is Not My Life which is based on the anecdote of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the young hostage and featured later as a character in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature series in the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
